The Christon Inset range of woodburners from Eurostove offer clean lines for a contemporary home environment and are available in 600mm, 700mm or the flatline (letterbox shape) 900mm width – the latter accommodating a 70cm log length.
Made from a sturdy steel constructed box these convection inset models can either be framed on all 4 sides or on 3 sides for flush mounting with the floor. Part of the innovative design is additional air ducting so that up to 40% of the heat can be re-directed to an additional room.
An ever increasingly popular advantage of modern woodburning designs is their low maintenance and high efficiency levels. The tough, insulated chamber of the Christon design allows the logs to burn on the bed so no ash-tray is necessary making cleaning a very simple matter indeed.
The other main attraction of modern woodburners is in their design which is aimed to greatly enhance the ambiance of a living area be it period or contemporary. The warmth created – 80% re-circulates into the room volume instead of escaping up a chimney – is more easily distributed evenly and, of course, the visual delight of viewing the fire retains all its magic with the enigmatic lights and shadows that dance out from it. All three of these Christon Inset woodburner designs have this in mind, so have a large glass frontal for a fine view of the fire – a splendid addition to any interior.
